Masaba Grace is currently the Partner heading the Inter-country Adoption team at Uniqus Advocates. She is passionate about transforming and modernizing the legal profession in Uganda and globally thus specializing in Inter-country Adoption where she has working practical knowledge in this area having advised numerous clients. As one of the leading Inter-country Adoption practitioners, Grace has been at the Centre of major Inter-country Adoptions in Uganda.
She is also an expert in Corporate Governance and her wide experience includes representing and advising numerous corporate clients on the corporate governance institutional legal and regulatory framework. Her day to day assignments comprise of corporate advisories majorly in Company compliance, transactional agreements, debt restructuring, and due diligence relating to mergers and acquisitions. She is keen to offer solution-based advice to her wide range of clientele. Other arears of practice include; employment affairs.
Grace holds an LLB (Hons) from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (DIP.LP) from Law Development Centre, Kampala. She is also a candidate for the award of the professional certification as a Chartered Governance Professional from the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
Grace also has a niche in research and her works have informed policy implementation within Uganda.
